Sara "OBSKYR" Källberg
Sara Källberg is a Stockholm's based artist with a chaotic and colorful expression, creating contemporary pieces, under the artist name OBSKYR.
The art is vibrant and initially often created together with friends gathering after a night out. What started out as a social activity, however, quickly grew into a full-time obsession.
The artistic style is raw rather than refined, often exploits contrasts and as well as different mediums and technics. However, painting on old screen-printing frames have become somewhat of a signature.
As an artist OBSKYR is heavily influenced by street art and poetry, but also draws inspiration from news and current events. The pieces often integrate text or symbols, highlighting everything from trivial matters to larger social issues and structures.
